Trailer history:
This trailer has been specially designed to move safes.
This trailer is designed first and foremost with safety as a number one priority for everyone involved from the safe technician to the motorist.

The trailer was built in 1948 with heavy duty steel, and the overhaul in 2008 was extensive. John Miller and David Walz both worked on the; planning, stick welding and assembly of this trailer.

The old axles, towing tongue, paint, electrical, rear part of the trailer were removed. John and David installed the new axles that are rated for not less than 5,000 lbs each. Each of the four tires has their own independent electric brakes and independent suspension. The new lunette ring, rated at 15,000 lbs, is attached to heavy duty square steel tubing traveling 15 feet under the trailer, the square tubing has been welded to the trailers original frame and the trailer frame has been reinforced using heavy duty angle iron. Also installed is; new electrical wiring has been installed to run the lift gate, lights, and brakes. A battery was installed for the lift gate.

The 1,300 lbs capacity Tommy lift gate has been welded directly to the trailer; which makes lifting safes into the trailer, the safest and most secured method. Two brackets have been welded on the trailer to secure the safe when lifting.

The safes are firmly secured to an “E” track system with a combination wooden and steel deck.
